About Scampi Easy Peel
For our easy-peel scampi, we use the Black Tiger prawn (Penaeus monodon), which owes its name to its black color and distinct stripes. This prawn is found in subtropical waters and is widely farmed in countries such as Bangladesh and Vietnam.

Thawing tip:
Thaw the shrimp slowly in a covered bowl or bag in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours for optimal flavor. Note: Do not use hot water or a microwave to thaw the shrimp.
