Description

Butterfly
prawns are the most delicious snacks. They are made from premium Vannamei prawns, carefully sliced open and breaded to achieve their characteristic “butterfly shape.” This technique ensures the prawns look larger, cook faster, and have an extra crispy bite.

Preparation:
Our Butterfly shrimp are already breaded and ready to be fried. You can prepare them in several ways:

  1. Frying: Heat oil to 180°C and fry the shrimps for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Oven: Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until crispy.
  3. Airfryer: Bake them at 180°C for 8-10 minutes for a lighter preparation.

Serve with a fresh chili sauce, garlic mayonnaise, or teriyaki dip for an irresistible taste experience!

Difference from Torpedo Shrimp:
Although both varieties are breaded, butterfly shrimp have a wider, flatter shape thanks to the specific cutting technique. This gives them an extra crispy texture and makes them look larger on the plate. Torpedo shrimp, on the other hand, retain their elongated shape.

Certifications & Sustainability
Our Butterfly shrimp come from sustainably farmed Vannamei shrimp and bear the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) label.
