Description

About
Ebi Fry: Shrimp are a beloved Japanese specialty. They're made with our premium Vannamei shrimp, which are carefully peeled and straightened before being coated in a crispy panko breadcrumb coating. This Japanese breading makes the shrimp extra light and crispy, making them perfect as a snack, appetizer, or part of a delicious meal.

Our
Ebi Fry shrimp are already breaded and ready to be fried. You can prepare them in several ways:

  1. Frying: Heat oil to 180°C and fry the shrimps for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Oven: Bake them at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until they are deliciously crispy.
  3. Airfryer: Bake them at 180°C for 8-10 minutes for a lighter, low-fat preparation.

Serve with Japanese tonkatsu sauce or creamy wasabi mayonnaise. A classic taste experience!

Difference with Torpedo Shrimp:
While Ebi Fry and torpedo shrimp look very similar, there are some key differences. For example, Ebi Fry shrimp are breaded with panko, which creates an extra crispy and airy texture. Torpedo shrimp have a finer and thinner breading than the 50% of Ebi Fry shrimp. Furthermore, Ebi Fry shrimp are more often served as a dish than a snack.
