Description

Shrimp
wrapped in filo pastry is a popular fusion snack with influences from both Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. The use of filo pastry—familiar from dishes like baklava and börek—has its origins in the Middle East and the Balkans. In Asian cuisines, such as Thai and Vietnamese, shrimp are often wrapped in thin pastry or rice paper and then fried or steamed.

The modern version – shrimp wrapped in filo pastry – is a delicious fusion of both worlds. Thanks to the crispy texture of the pastry and the succulent, flavorful shrimp, they are loved worldwide, especially in the hospitality and catering industry. Ideal as a snack, appetizer, or appetizer, and perfect paired with a dipping sauce like sweet and sour sauce, chili mayo, or sesame soy dressing.

Our
shrimp in filo pastry are already rolled for you and only need to be prepared. This can be done in several ways:

  2. Oven: 12-15 minutes at 200°C
  3. Airfryer: 8-10 minutes at 180°C
