Description

Cod
, or Gadus morhua, is a beloved fish from Norway and Iceland. Cod is incredibly healthy: rich in protein, low in fat, a source of omega-3 fatty acids, and packed with numerous minerals.

Flavor & Texture:
We've frozen the fish in such a way that all the flavors, minerals, and textures are preserved. Our cod is therefore tender and juicy, with a beautiful texture that falls apart when you slowly cook it in the oven or pan.

Preparation:
These fillets are excellent in the oven, but you can also grill, steam, or deep-fry them. Make sure you have plenty of butter or oil and a selection of tasty herbs. 12-15 minutes at 180°C in a fan oven should be more than enough.

Thawing tip:
For the best taste and texture, let cod thaw slowly in the refrigerator (8-12 hours). Want to speed things up? Place the fish in a sealed bag and soak in cold water. Avoid hot water or the microwave, as this can damage the fish's texture.
