Description

About
Squid rings are a true favorite in kitchens all over the world. They are cut from the firm body of the Illex squid and are known for their tender flavor and ideal texture. Perfect for deep-frying, grilling, or stir-frying. Whether you go for classic calamari or an Asian wok dish – with squid rings, the possibilities are endless!

Taste & Quality
Golden Ocean's frozen calamari are loved because they are quick and easy to prepare. By briefly pan-frying or deep-frying them at a high temperature, they remain tender and juicy. Do you want to cook them longer? Then do so slowly and at a low temperature to prevent toughness and allow the subtle flavor to come into its own.

Preparation:
Coat the rings in flour or a light beer batter and fry for 2 minutes until golden brown. Serve with garlic sauce, aioli, or a refreshing lemon mayonnaise.

Thawing tip:
Let the squid rings thaw slowly in the refrigerator (8-12 hours) for the best texture and flavor. Need less time? Place the rings in a sealed bag in cold water and let them thaw for 30-60 minutes. Avoid using hot water or the microwave to maintain their quality.

Packaging
The fish is packed per kilo, always in boxes of 10 kilos.
