Salmon
Salmon fillet
Filleting salmon is quite an art, but our experts know what they're doing. And the result is impressive: a beautiful salmon pink, full of fat, and simply perfectly cut. The salmon fillets are cut from the highest quality Atlantic salmon from Norway, Iceland, or the Faroe Islands. Immediately after filleting, the salmon fillets are individually frozen at very low temperatures (IQF) to preserve their flavor, texture, and quality.

Description
The
cream of the crop, but truly. Or rather, not, because we've cut away the head of the salmon in these top-quality fillets. Immediately after filleting, the fish is frozen using a special method called Individual Quick Freeze (IQF). This allows us to offer the highest quality fish year-round, equivalent to fresh fish. So, right from the source.
Taste & Quality:
Atlantic salmon fillets are a true classic in the kitchen. This versatile fish is carefully farmed in the cold, clear waters of Norway, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. Thanks to this optimal habitat, the salmon develops into a top-quality fish with a delicious flavor and firm texture. Thanks to its high omega-3 fatty acid content, the fish remains deliciously juicy, whether you bake, grill, or steam it.
Preparation:
Well, what can you do with a beautiful piece of salmon fillet? Really, a lot. Make your own sushi or experience the ultimate flavor by slicing it for sashimi. Want to bake or grill the salmon? Then prepare it in the oven with some herbs and oil. This way, you'll best preserve the flavor and texture of the fish.
Certifications & Sustainability:
Upon request, we offer salmon fillets with the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) quality mark, which guarantees sustainable and environmentally friendly farming. Our salmon also carries the GLOBAL GAP quality mark, an internationally recognized certification that guarantees responsible food production, animal welfare, and traceability. Together, we contribute to sustainable fishing.
Thawing tip:
For the best taste and texture, let the salmon fillets thaw in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours. Short on time? Place the vacuum-packed fillet in a bowl of cold water and let it thaw for 30-60 minutes. Avoid using hot water or the microwave, as this can negatively affect the texture.
