This highest quality means we purchase the fish when the fat content is at its peak, which is only for a few months each year. Yellowfin tuna steaks have a full, clean flavor with a subtle nutty undertone. Their firm texture ensures the fish holds its shape perfectly when fried, grilled, or broiled. Tuna steaks are often compared to steak in their preparation. A quick sear ensures a juicy and tender result.

Preparation:
For a perfect tuna steak, brush it with olive oil, season it with sea salt and black pepper, and grill or sear it for 30–60 seconds per side at a high temperature. This is a very short time, as you want the meat to remain nice and rare. The longer you cook it, the less pink the fish will be.


The steaks weigh 180 to 200 grams and are cut two to three centimeters thick. Available in 10x1kg packages .
