Description

About Vannamei Shrimp Easy Peel:
For our Vannamei easy peel shrimp, we use Litopenaeus vannamei , also known as white-legged shrimp. This shrimp is known for its light color and subtle, sweet flavor. They are primarily farmed in tropical and subtropical regions such as India and Vietnam, where sustainable aquaculture is becoming increasingly important.

Flavor & Quality:
Vannamei shrimp are beloved for their mild, slightly sweet flavor and tender, succulent texture. They are slightly finer in texture than Black Tiger shrimp, but are often prized for this very reason in refined dishes. Their versatility and consistent quality make them perfect for both simple and gourmet dishes.

Preparation:
Keep the preparation simple and let the shrimp shine. Grilling them is delicious, for example: marinate the shrimp in olive oil, garlic, and lemon, and grill them for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Note: Vannamei shrimp have a short cooking time. Once they are pink and slightly translucent, they are ready. Overcooking will make them tough.

Quality Mark & Sustainability:
Quality-marked shrimp are available upon request. At Golden Ocean, you can choose ASC-certified Vannamei shrimp. This quality mark guarantees responsible farming. Our frozen shrimp are top quality: firm, shiny, and free of discoloration.

Thawing tip:
Defrost the shrimp slowly in a covered container in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours for the best taste and texture. Avoid hot water and microwaves, as these will damage the texture.

Packaging:
We offer a variety of packaging methods tailored to your needs. Perfect for hospitality, retail, and wholesale.
