Taste & Quality
Alaska Pollack has a tender texture and flavor that is not easily lost during preparation. Furthermore, thanks to the efficient organization of the catch, we can deliver consistent quality all year round. The fish is frozen immediately after catching using the best freezing methods to preserve flavor, texture, and minerals.

Labels & Certificates
At Golden Ocean, we choose Alaska Pollack with the MSC label, which stands for responsible fishing. This label guarantees that the fish is caught sustainably, with respect for the ocean and its ecosystems. We stand for sustainable fishing and stay close to the source of all our products. Thawing tip:
You don't need to defrost the fish to fry kibbeling. However, keep in mind that it will take a slightly longer cooking time. It's better to defrost the fish briefly or lightly, though. This reduces the risk of scalding oil splatters. Just as safe and easy!

Packaging:
We package the coarse kibbeling strips (size L) in 2.5-kilogram boxes. Each box contains 8 strips. See this page for smaller strips (size L).
